Take advantage of the last Q4. Q4 is the last quarter of the year. It is composed of the last three months of the year: October, November, and December. It is often considered as the most important time of the year for sales as many important Holidays take place at this time. In Q4, we have Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas. In q4, customers come to the stores not to browse but to spend. So, how do you take advantage of this opportunity? Here are three tips for you to sell more this Q4

  • Perform your customer research early and often

Once the last quarter starts, the time crunch is on. You should have everything ready before October. Delays in research could delay your sales into the next quarter, which could mean losing the opportunity for big Q4 sales. Before the Q4 sales blitz kicks into full gear,  take the time to gather all the important research you’ll need throughout the sales process, including CRM history, industry research, market segmentation data, behavioral statistics, and more. Also, be ready to deploy your own knowledge at a moment’s notice to facilitate the process.

  • Communicate clearly and openly with your clients and colleagues

Effective communication is a key skill in business. The company’s stakeholders need to be fully aware of what is going on and the opportunity that the Q4 is for sales. There is no substitute for effective communication and being readily available with accurate answers to your coworkers and clients. Also, remember that sales are always a team effort, and it’s vital to let other departments know as early as possible when you need assistance.

  • Double-check your details to avoid derailment

The details matter when you have limited time; even little mistakes can cause harmful delays. Make sure to always double-check your sales materials and procedures with time-sensitive sales seasons such as Q4.  Also, maintain close collaborations with all relevant departments when contracts are being drawn up; these departments include accounting, IT, and legal.
