Status: Litigation in progress to reclaim a shareholder’s stake
He owned a third of an international trade company. He’d helped build it. Then one day a stranger stood up, called a meeting, and announced he was the new boss.
That was how our client learned the truth. His two partners had quietly sold their combined stake — the controlling share — to an outsider. No heads-up. No conversation. No consent. They cashed out and walked, and the first our client heard of it was the announcement that the company was no longer his to run.
Then it got worse. The new majority owner didn’t just take control — he acted as if our client didn’t exist. A one-third owner, erased. No vote asked for, no books shared, no seat at the table. He ran the company for one person’s benefit — his own — and treated a rightful owner like a ghost in his own business.
And he ran it into the ground on the way. He allegedly stripped the company for parts — siphoning its assets, funneling its cash into his own competing businesses, and leaving our client’s company buried under the debts he left behind.
Focus Law stepped in. We filed suit against everyone responsible and are fighting to recover what was taken — to protect our client’s ownership, his money, and his future.
If you’ve ever felt the ground shift under a business you helped build — decisions made without you, your name on the ownership but not in the room, treated like you don’t count in a company you helped create — you know how quietly it happens, and how hard it hits when it finally lands.
You don’t have to carry that alone. One conversation with the right lawyer can change the whole case. Let’s have that conversation.
